What is Trademark Objection?

While such objections do not automatically lead to rejection, the registrar may request additional clarification or justification regarding the logo and its compliance with legal standards.
Third parties may also raise objections to the trademark on the grounds of public interest. There are two primary instances in which the public or a third party can contest the registration of a trademark:
- 1. When the trademark is published in the Trademark Journal.
- 2. If the applicant has utilized the mark prior to its official registration.
Upon receiving an objection, the applicant is required to submit a detailed response within one month or within the specified timeframe.
